Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
If you look at https://baptiste.gelez.xyz/~/PlumeDevelopment/this-month-in-plume-june-2018/ it seems to happen especially on comments with multiple mentions.
May be related to #80 too
It seems I'm one of the users affected by this duplication bug.

I think it happens when someone from the same Plume instance follows you.
There are still issues with duplicated comments here. The comment appear 3 times, and conveniently that's also the number of peoples from the Plume instance who got mentioned. However this comment was originated from Mastodon
@fdb-hiroshima I guess Mastodon sent it to each users' inbox, running thrice the creation code in Plume.
