A few things:
I think the grid view for feed is not ideal. At the very least there should be an option to do a single item feed versus a grid feed.

The affordance signifier for opening a story from feed is unclear.

The default container width for articles on desktop is way too narrow. Ux studies show optimal reading width is 66-75 characters and the current container makes it less than 50 characters width.

Not sure if there is a proper h1-h6 tag type hierarchy in place.

Also I think it would be smart to implement some kind of lightweight theme system where people can drop in a CSS file (or drop CSS into a text input that gets injected into the page as global CSS in the header). That way people can make their blogs look different maybe? sorta like how tumblr does things. If you're reading from a feed stuff is styled neutrally but if you visit the individual blog people have more control over how stuff looks.

I mentioned that I was available to help offer UX help on the matrix and people asked me to expand on my thoughts on how Plume UX could be honed so I responded.
