Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

Plume is often hosted along with other services, and you currently have to create an account on each of these, which may be quite inconvenient.

Describe the solution you'd like

Allowing to log in with OpenID (and why not other OAuth2 providers, since it is what OpenID uses) would make it possible to only have one central identity/account.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Making Plume a front-end for a generic ActivityPub server, which would allow having only one account for all the services based on ActivityPub.

Additional context

IndieAuth would also be nice. https://indieweb.org/How_is_IndieAuth_different_from_OpenID_Connect
