New instance at WriteWorks.uk with a Snap install on a Debian 9 VPS. Instance federates both in and outbound OK.
Attempting to like or boost a post on the above instance with the ‘I’m from another instance’ feature. Using my mastodon.scot account but mastodon.scot reports the following error:
503 Remove SSL certificate could not be verified
(also see attached screencapture)
The SSL certs are properly listed in the Apache2 .vhost file.
I then looked through the Snap directory structure and came across the ../ssl directory. It was empty:
writeworks:/snap/plume/148/etc/ssl/certs# ls -la total 0 drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 3 Dec 2 14:54 . drwxr-xr-x 4 root root 62 Feb 18 08:58 .. Writeworks:/snap/plume/148/etc/ssl/certs#
I believe many Snap directories are not writable even by su for security reasons.
Is is possible to have a Plume Snap install use the current SSL certificates?
