I noticed that tags are global, meaning that when I tag something "roleplaying" it is not only my posts which are shown.

I'd like to have tags per blog and respective individual feeds. I have a use case where an aggregator site wants a feed for the tag "roleplaying" to only get content for that.

Global site (with all blogs) could be optional to simulate a "single blog instance" by domain name or path of blog?

Maybe related to the feature request #774

Could be interesting for multi user blog or the feature to follow blogs instead of users. Global tags are fine, but used as multi (user) blog instance if start page is used, but if one of the hosted blogs is visited, the search should be limited to the current blog? Global site (with all blogs) could be optional to simulate a "single blog instance" by domain name or path of blog? Maybe related to the feature request #774
